Leaving virginia

Look what I finally found in the RV.....

I didn't know there was a bed back there. I am only getting in when asked.

So we are going to e heading south on our way out of Virginia, but we have three stops before sleeping in Virginia beach.

So you know Stonewall Jackson was shot and lost his arm, just past our campground is where they took him . Guinea Station , this is where he died.

This is the actual bed he died in and the blanket was on the bed as well.

This clock was in the room also.

Next we travelled to George Washington birthplace on the Potomac River but more specifically Pope's Creek. My mom is a Pope.

Next stop Strafford which was Robert E. Lee's birthplace and home for the family for many years.

A pile of oyster shells for my mom.

As we are driving along, I see a poor little animal who has gotten out of the fence. I have never seen one of these before.

Further along was some horses, I meet one of those a few years ago. But this one snorted at me.

These are the Strafford Cliffs on the Potomac.

So we leave the country side and head to Virginia Beach.

Yes, the first major rain on the trip.

Get your butt( inside joke)
