Natural Bridge and Lexington

After Appomattox we headed west across the mountains to Natural Bridge

Co-pilot of course. Still haven't explored the back. Still nervous after that thunder storm.

Natural Bridge. Owned by Thomas Jefferson dad, supposedly George Washington carved his name in it.

Mom and Dad went into the wax museum and factory ,but Dad really wanted to go on the Redneck hunt for Bigfoot

Next we travelled to Lexington home of VMI and Washington and Lee.
Dad's Pop played basketball at Washington and Lee

VMI

Next Washington and Lee

Lee's Chapel where General Lee was buried

His horse Traveller is buried here as well. You saw the picture of Stonewall Jackson horse, they aren't even a mile apart.
